Artist Karen Swyer
Born to Italian, working-class, immigrant parents and raised in a family with strong cultural traditions and values in Springfield, MA.
Registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer for over 30 years with a BS degree from Boston University. Currently working full time at Newton Wellesley Hospital as a cardiac sonographer.
Resident of Newton since 1992 and resident of Nonantum since 1999. My husband Mark Greenberg and I have raised four children who have all attended Newton public schools. Our son Matteo is a graduate of Babson College, a world traveler and an entrepreneur.
I live in Newton, work in Newton and have raised my family in Newton. I love Newton and care about its future.
